Obituary of Daria M. Kindrat-Pratt

Please share a memory of Daria to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kindrat-Pratt, Daria M. Fairport: Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at the age of 73 due to injuries incurred from an accident. Predeceased by her parents, Ivan and Maria, and her brother, Myroslaw. Daria is survived by her husband, Michael; her children, Lesia & Michael (Emily); sister, Luba; and extended family here and in Ukraine. She was truly one-of-a-kind. Her warmth, generosity, and infectious smile resonated with everyone in her life. Her interpretation of the English language was legendary. And no one who met her remained a stranger for long – you would find yourself telling her stories of your grandparents in the old country in no time flat. Her joyful spirit was her hallmark, and it lifted up everyone around her. She will be missed beyond what words can express. Her family will receive friends Tuesday, January 7th, 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.) with Panachyda/Prayer Service at 7:30 pm. Her Divine Liturgy will be held Wednesday, January 8th, at 11:30 am at Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany (202 Carter St.) with a reception to follow. Interment will be held privately. Flowers are welcome or donations may be directed to House of Mercy or Wilmot Cancer Institute. To share a memory or send the family a condolence, please visit www.harrisfuneralhome.com.
