Pomeroy, Fred A. Irondequoit: Friday, October 15, 2010 at the age of 87.Mr. Pomeroy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ann (Dorland); children, Norma(Douglas) Abbott, David(Nancy) Pomeroy, Jennifer(James) Dolan, John(Margaret) Pomeroy, James Pomeroy; grandchildren, Daniel(Sara) Abbott, Emily (Abbott)(Benjamin) Pfeiffer, Julie(Richard) Chapman, Diane Pomeroy, Andrew Pomeroy, Laura Dolan, Amanda Pomeroy, Joshua Pomeroy; 3 great grandchildren Carly & Brayden Chapman, Lily Abbott; sister, Fay Marie(George) Bird; a niece and 2 nephews.Mr. Pomeroy was a WWII veteran, Kodak retiree, real estate broker, Boy Scout Leader, active church member & classroom volunteer. His family will receive friends FRIDAY 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 10:00 AM at EPISCOPAL CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION for his memorial service, 2 River Street Rochester, N.Y. 14613.Inurnment Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Episcopal Church of the Ascension Memorial Fund.
