Please accept my sincere condolences in the passing of your dad. He was sure a great man. We all had some really great times in the old neighborhood. Now there are more of the neighborhood originals in heaven than left here. God bless everyone, Paul

I was saddened to hear the news of your dad's passing away. Our condolences to all of you. Milt was a great person and will be missed. I will miss his Christmas cards with his special message to us each year. The video made me cry because it brought back so many memories of your parents, the neighborhood and our mom & dad. God bless you all. Love, Al & Mary Anne

Milt never seemed old.
In his 70’s, he was still trying new things and had room in his big heart for new friends like us. By then, he had more friends than one could count--people he had known for years--but he still welcomed us into his world. Pretty soon it was like we had known him for years too, and we always looked forward to seeing him at Margaret and Dave’s. We loved his stories and the cards and notes he sent in the mail. Milt was a kind, strong and generous friend, and we will miss him.

Dear Schmidt family,
I want to send my deepest sympathy to all of you. I don't know if you remember me, but I was Eileen's service coord. many years ago. Your dad was so kind and friendly. I remember him well. His love for all of you was so clear each and every time I interacted with him. I wish you all healing and peace in your grief. Fondly,

I know your father will be another star in the sky shining above and sending love to all of you. How blessed you have been to have such a beautiful family. You will of course always miss him but I know the joyful memories will ultimately overcome the sadness.
You are all in my prayers.

Dear Schmidt (Burns) families,
I have so many fond memories from my childhood of going to THE meat market and getting our beef barbeque. Of course we also purchased all our other meat but that bbq was the thrill! Everyone there was so nice and it is a cherished memory. Please accept my sympathy and prayers for your wonderful family and for Mr Schmidt.

All the memories! Catalpa Road was a great place to grow up and Schmidt's Meat Market was the place to go for our beef bar-b-que.
To the whole Schmidt Family: You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
God Bless.
