Obituary of Elmer A. Mongelli

FLAG EMBLEM Mongelli, Elmer A. Irondequoit. Passed away peacefully Thursday, September 13, 2012. Elmer is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Phyllis, children, David(Johnette) Mongelli, Dina Mongelli and Donna(Keith) Nichols, grandchildren, Nicholas, Stephaine & Emily Mongelli, Leah & Adam Nichols and his sister Mary Lippa. Elmer was well known pianist in the jazz community for over 30 years and was a devoted family man. The family wishes to extend a warm thank you to the staff and caregivers at the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital and the Visiting Nurse Service. His family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 - 4:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Monday 9:30am at Blessed Kateri at Christ the King Church for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
