Obituary of Ivan Oleksyn

Oleksyn, Ivan Irondequoit: Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the age of 90. He is survived by his wife, Natalia Oleksyn; daughter, Christina Oleksyn; son, Ihor Oleksyn; 2 sisters in Ukraine and their families. Ivan was a veteran of the Ukrainian Army. He moved to the U.S. in 1949 and worked for Erdman & Anthony for 20 years as a civil engineer. Ivan was past President of the Ukrainian Fraternal Association and was also one of the founders of the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union. His family will receive friends on FRIDAY 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Panachyda 7pm. Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 10:30am at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
