Irondequoit: Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with cancer. Liz is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Alma Blum; and her soul mate Harry Compson. She is survived by her sons, Daniel J.(Jennifer) Conway and James R.(Karen) Conway; grandchildren, Danny, Erica, Elise, Jenna; cousins and many good friends, especially Stephanie Denk.
Liz was a Xerox retiree. She was the chaplain of the Point Pleasant Ladies Auxiliary. She was involved with many senior social groups and was a long time parishioner of St. Salomes's Church where she was very active. She was loved by many and known for her compassion and generosity. Heavens gain is our loss.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Leo Center for Caring at St. Ann's Community for their kind and compassionate care.
Her family will receive friends TUESDAY 3:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family WEDNESDAY 10:00am at Blessed Kateri at St. Salomes Church for her memorial mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
