The words of our Lord may be most comforting to you at this time. At Matthew 5:5 he stated â€œBlessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.â€� Jesus words at John 5:28 and 29 give us the guarantee that he will resurrect those in the graves to live again. It is my hope and prayer that the Bible based truth of a resurrection to everlasting life gives you comfort and bolsters your faith in God and in the provision he gave us of the sacrifice of his Sonâ€™s death.

I was deeply saddened to read of the passing of Father Peter. With his stature and demeanor, he often reminded me of my grandfather. I truly enjoyed our short conversations before masses and his wonderful sense of humor. How fortunate we were to have been blessed with his presence and to know that our heavenly Father has now welcomed him home.
