Copenhagen, Sr., Edward W. "Mr. C" Irondequoit: Saturday, November 24, 2012 at age 88 with his family at his side. Pre-deceased by his parents Edward & Evelyn and his wife of 62 years Anne. Mr. Copenhagen is survived by his loving daughter; Marcia E. Maeske, grandson; Kurt (Jen) Maeske, daughter; Nancy (Peter) Hollebrand, granddaughter; Kristina Loos (Dustin Waite), son; Edward W. Jr. , grandchildren; Tracy, Jennifer (Gary) Baug, Brandon Copenhagen (Angela Barbera), 8 Great Grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. Mr. C was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. with 35 years of service; a Decorated Army Veteran of W. W.II, Battle of the Bulge, a P.O.W. for 57 days and a member of American Legion Post #134. A special THANK YOU to his caregivers of the Home Base at the V.A.; Barb, Dianne & Tammy also his home caregivers; Marcia, Linda, Peg & Renee. His family will receive friends THURSDAY 4:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). His Military Funeral Service will be held Friday 11:00 am at Irondequoit Cemetery, Veteran's Section.
