Jack was very supportive and very helpful in my years as a seminarian at St.John Fisher in the late 60's. He was one of the good guys! Rest in peace.

Our sincere condolences to the surviving members of Fr.Jack’s immediate family.
Fr.Jack was my uncle and a well beloved one at that when I was growing up in London, ON.
He was very close to my Dad; the late James R. Murray of London, ON where they spent many a summer on my Grandfather Davy’s farm; and seemed more like brothers than cousins.
My wife and kids had the honor of meeting Fr, Jack @ my Aunt Elaine’s in 2010 over the Christmas holidays.
I’m sure our dear Lord will be very pleased to now have him home.
The rest of the Murray’s in this clan in heaven now have a great third baseman for there team………God Bless you FR. Jack………….
David,Diane,Danielle, and Elizabeth Murray

Our beloved Fr. Jack is now having a beer with the Lord! We'll miss his warm smile and loving embrace. But the many WWME weekends, meetings and events the Albany Area Team couples have spent with Fr. Jack will be in our memory forever. God Bless Fr. Jack, we Love You.

Fr. Jack was the epitome of Christ's love for us. Fr. Jack loved us and we felt this each and every time we encountered him. As one of the WNY WWME presenting couples, we were always touched by the way in which he connected with us and the other couples. His talks were pure, refreshing and ones that we will always cherish. He will truly be missed and we will hold on to the beautiful memorires we have of him. We remember much of what he said to us but we will ALWAYS remember how we FELT when we walked away from an encounter with him. And he was such a great hugger! Fr. Jack was special and heaven surely has a REMARKABLE Angel!

During my entire career as serving WNY WWME, Fr. Jack was our presenting priest, I had the pleasure of presenting 4 weekends with him. At that time, between the ages of 78-80, his presentations were crisp, pure, compassionate and full of life as they touched the hearts of the couples attending the weekend, as well as my heart. At that time Fr. Jack became my hero, my WWME leader, and a source I could go to when I was hung up writing my talks. In my eyes he was a giant of a man who will be sadly missed. His shoes will be difficult to fill.
