Obituary of Mary Sweryda

PHOTO Sweryda, Mary Irondequoit: Friday, February 15, 2013 at the age of 97. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Walter. Mrs. Sweryda is survived by her devoted daughter, Kathryn Sweryda, sisters, Sister Juliette, SSMI, Eva Kinisky, Cornelia(Walter)Halabecki, Ellen(Albert)Whitehead, and Connie(Steve)Halinda, brothers, Maurice(Lillian)Chicorli and Harry(Anne)Chicorli, sisters-in-law, Edwina, Marion, Barbara, Isabel Chicorli and Kathryn Kych in Ukraine, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was the Secretary and member of the St. Ann's Society for many years, a member of Ukrainian Civic Center and St. Josaphat's Senior Citizen Group. (Ukrainian Symbol) Her family will receive friends Monday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home, (Panachyda 6:30pm). Friends are invited to meet the family Tuesday 10:30 am at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
