Obituary of James C. Rendsland

Rendsland, James C. "Jimmy the mailman" Irondequoit: Went peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the age of 76. Predeceased by his parents James N. and Gladys. Jim is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joan, son, Timothy, sister, Genie(Thomas)McKay, nephew, TJ (Jen)McKay and other family. Reunited with his beloved staff Angel, Indy & Blue. Jim was a veteran of the U.S Air Force, 509th Bomb Wing and had a 35 year career with the U.S Postal Service. He was a devoted husband and father and loyal friend. His family will receive friends Friday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 10:00 am at St. Kateri at St. Salome's Church for his funeral mass. Interment will be held in private. In lieu flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626.
