My wife Joyce and I wish to express our deepest sympathy with Ron's family. Ron and I worked at Ilex Optical Co. with his brother John for several years and Ron lived in the same appartment building as my wife, son and I during most of our time at Ilex. Joyce and I have many fond memories of Ron and Nancy from those days. I recently met up with Ron on a tour of JML and it was wonderful to get to see him again (and meet his son). I've uploaded a couple of pictures to this site that show Ron with me and my son. My family will keep Ron and all of the Power's family in our prayers.

My sincere condolences to Ron's family. My daughter was coached by Ron, and he was a great mentor. We are just so sad to hear of his passing. His approach to life and coaching enriched so many lives that his memory will live for not just the swimmers but the parents as well.

I am sorry to hear about Ron's passing. I have many great memories with him from when he coached me at the Sea Dragons for many years. It makes me smile to think back to those days, and I am so glad I had him as a coach. He will be greatly missed.

I was very saddened to hear of Ron's death. We worked many years ago at Olin Corporation and were reconnected when he coached for my son and daughter with the Blue Fins. What a wonderful gentle man he was. My sympathy to the entire family.
