Hi. I was a friend of Dwight at St. Francis, and also knew him at Hilbert College. He was in interesting character, that's for sure; and was very outgoing. It is good to see he had such a good life and was a man of his faith.

My condolences to the Obark family. I worked with Dwight at GMAC in Bufffalo in the early 90's until the office closed. Although I hadn't seen him since that time, we did keep in touch by phone. He kept me up to date with what was going on with my former coworkers. I was always amazed how upbeat and positive he was everytime we spoke. He will be greatly missed but now he is at peace.

Although I haven't seen Dwight since I retired in 1995, I think of him everytime I hear the words "put it back". When Dwight was a fairly new employee at GMAC he was a field rep., and was very happy and excited to phone in a repo - unfortunately the customer was no longer past due and Dwight must have not been updated. The words "put it back!!!!" and "put it back????" were exchanged MANY times between us. I will always remember that because it makes me laugh and that was something Dwight was very talented at - making people laugh. His smile and good humor was contagious. My most sincere condolences for your loss to all Dwight's family and friends.

We moved in next door to Dwight and Mary Ann only three short years ago. In the summertime we would see Dwight outside enjoying the sunshine and working on his beautiful garden as often as he could. He was so kind and generous. He shared extra plants with us and even offered some gardening tips! We will miss him very much, and we are so sorry for your loss.

I have known Dwight for almost 36 years through our jobs at GMAC. From the very first week that I started, I knew that Dwight would be someone who I would always consider my friend. I feel as though a light has gone out in the world but I know I just need look at the stars to see it again. Good Bye, my friend.

I first met Dwight when I was invited to the family home to also meet his daughter, her husband and the first grandchild Colton who were visiting from England.
I met his wife through work and she is a dear friend. When I came to their house, I felt so welcomed. His warm smile and friendly greeting made me feel like part of the family. Each time I saw him, there was that beautiful smile and warm hello.
God be with you for he is surely with Him.
