Obituary of Gretchen L. Schindler

Irondequoit: May 15, 2013 Passed away peacefully, at The Baird Nursing Home, just two weeks shy of her 80th birthday. Predeceased by her parents, Olga K. Alberty and Guy W. Alberty. Gretchen was a beautiful person by all measure. She grew up in Batavia, NY and went on to graduate from Russell Sage College in 1955. She is survived by her loving husband Hal of 56 years; children, David G. (Ronay LeBlanc), Amy Anderson (Blair), Janet Wilcox (Rick), and Julie Giron (Mike); 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. We are most thankful for the wonderful care and love given by the entire staff of The Baird Nursing Home. Her memorial service will be held on Thursday May 23rd at 4:00pm at Summerville Presbyterian Church, 4845 St. Paul blvd. Interment private, Irondequoit Cemetery.
