Long, Rita M. (Taranto) Greece: Traveled peacefully to heaven while surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the age of 82. Pre-deceased by her husband, Leon F. She is survived by her children, Daniel P.(Marilyn) Long, Kathleen M. Long, Marie R. Long, Michele M. Long; grandchildren, Samantha J.(Fiancee, Ben Olson) Long, DJ Long; brother, Ralph(Jeanne) Taranto; sister-in-law, Arlene Bettin; brother-in-law, Primo Re; several nieces, nephews & cousins. Many lifelong friends and neighbors. Rita was a devoted wife, mother & friend. Her faith and generosity were an inspiration to all who knew her. Her family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 4:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family THURSDAY 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Church (2400 West Ridge Road) for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
