Obituary of John L. Mahoney

Mahoney, John L. "Jack" Irondequoit: August 28th 2013, In his 90th year, "Sitting on Top of the World". Predeceased by his beloved wife; Kathryn. Jack is survived by his devoted daughter, Kathie (Don) Ballou; loving grandchildren, Nick (Laura), Matt and Abby Ballou; great-grandchildren, Celina and Ryan; many dear relatives and countless friends. A loyal Kodak employee for 40 years, in retirement Jack was not only a proud and dedicated grandfather but an active Volunteer through numerous organizations, including RGH and the American Red Cross. Jack had a special way of touching the lives of everyone he met. The family wishes to express their gratitude to his many caregivers. His family will receive friends FRIDAY 5:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 09:30 AM at ST. KATERI AT CHRIST THE KING CHURCH for his funeral mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Friendly Home or Lifetime Hospice Care.
