Dorofy, James D.
Rochester: Friday, August 30, 2013. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Katherine. Jim is survived by his wife Bessie (Sollami) Dorofy, son, Michael (Tina), granddaughter, Kaitlyn, cousin, Mike Paduchak, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim liked to fish, take day trips to discover new places, experiment with recipes and share what he created with others. He also loved spending time with his granddaughter, who called him Pop Pop.
His family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 9:30 am at Holy Cross Church for his funeral mass. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
