Obituary of Chester M. Rubacha

Rubacha, Chester M. Irondequoit: Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the age of 90. Predeceased by his daughter, Jane Yaworski; sister, Helen Nellis. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Nancy; son, Paul Rubacha; son-in-law, David(Susan) Yaworski; grandchildren, Christopher & Elizabeth Rubacha, Leah(Chris) Thomas, Erin(Greg) Tellex, Kendra Schramm, Patrick(Ali) Schramm; great grandchildren, Piper Jane, Cyleigh & Aleigha Thomas; many nieces, nephews and friends. Chester worked in the bookbinding industry for 37 years. He also served in the US Navy during WWII, in the Pacific theatre. He was on the Irondequoit Zoning Board for 20 years and a Literacy Volunteer member. A member of Irondequoit United Church of Christ, serving various capacities for over 50 years. Long time member of Ridgemont Country Club since 1976. He enjoyed fishing, golfing & skiing. No prior calling. Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 2:00pm at IRONDEQUOIT UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST for his memorial service. Interment Private.
