Dear Gail, Jeanne, and all who loved Jan: Jan was such a bright lady who genuinely cared for each and every one of her students and people in her life. She was an angel on this earth with so much to share and offer. Working with her as a student employee, I always felt she was a bright light in those hectic years where we could listen to her well-thought out ideas, advice, and decisions. There wasn't anything she did not consider unimportant. She truly made one feel valued. And that seemed to be her mission in life. She'd be proud to hear that with at least one student, her mission was accomplished. Thank you, Jan, for making our lives so much better by the grace of your presence. You will not be forgotten.

Jan was one in a million, a very warm and funny person with a bubbly personality. I always loved how her radiant smile would light up any room. It was contagious, all right! To Jan: It is with a heavy heart that we write this goodbye to a dear and delightful friend. Your smile is imprinted in our minds-eye forever and we are grateful for your friendship. I'm very shock that favorite teacher from P.E. by RSD.. My heart goes out of her, I miss her a lot so good memory in RSD. Jeanne, Gail and all members of Jan's family....I am so sorry for your great loss. Jan lit up a room when she entered it. When you loose a friend that you have know since the age of 14 years old..it changes you. I still see Jan walking the halls of Eastridge with her baton in hand, cheering at the basketball games and attending Sunday sorority meetings. Oh what good times we had! Sadly missed but never forgotten.

Dear Jeanne, Gail and all who loved Jan... my deepest condolences. I've shared a personal and professional friendship with Jan over the past 37 years working at NTID. On committees, we collaborated. In between, Jan and I were sure to connect and share "hello updates" before continuing on our way. With our birthdates so close together, friendship came naturally. I will miss our talks and laughs. I had the pleasure of working with Jan at RIT/NTID for a little over a year. She just loved her students. I went to a couple of her workshops with her student athletes. She was so proud of them and what they had accomplished. Jan will be sorely missed. I will keep her family in my prayers.
