Burgess, Ellen A.
Avon: Formerly of Irondequoit. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the age of 80. Predeceased by her daughter, Diane Everdyke and her brother Edwin Turner. Ellen is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Eugene, sons, Doug(Mary) and Dana(Dennis Mathews) Burgess, grandchildren, Dave(Desi), Amy and Derrick Burgess, Lindsey, Marinna and Dylan Everdyke, sister, Frances Radwich and brother, Edgar(Phyllis) Turner, several nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 - 4:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where her funeral service will be held Monday 10:00 am. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sea Breeze Volunteer Ambulance, 4657 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14622 or Leo Center for Caring, St. Ann's Foundation, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621.
