Helfer, Frederick L. "Chief" Irondequoit: Fred is now with our Lord and his lifetime sweetie, Peggy. He is survived by his son, Jeff and daughter-in-law Dorothy Helfer; brother, Paul(Dee) Helfer; sisters, Patricia(Jack) Dirkx & June(Justin) Cappon, as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his two best buddies, David(Katie) and Michael(Enid) Bryant, who he loved very much; sisters in law, Colleen & Mary Helfer. He is Pre-deceased by his parents, Fred & Hilda Helfer; wife, Margaret "Peggy"; sister Beverley Pugsley and brothers, Bob & Larry Helfer. His family especially wants to thank Norm DeRoo who forever remained his dearest friend. His family will receive friends FRIDAY (TODAY) 4:00- 8:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 10:00am at ST. PATRICK'S CHURCH, Victor, NY for his funeral mass. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.
