My name is Gary Stein and I am a driver for the St. Ann's Community. Many times did I transport 'Bob' to and from the RGH Dialysis and Cancer Centers. Bob was a fine gentleman and was always so appreciative of what I did for him--he always thanked me which meant so much to me. Upon each return trip from Dialysis he would always call Lena to inform her that we were on our way home back to Chapel Oaks--to me that was a true sign of LOVE, rather than make Lena worry..Bob informed her he was fine and on his way home. I always made it a point to have the van toasty warm for Bob, because if it was not warm, I would hear from the back of the bus---'Turn on the Heat', hearing that once I learned my lesson. Hope to be able to attend the service for Bob at St. Ann's Chapel, however, that depends on my work schedule for that day. Please Lena accept my condolences on the loss of your husband as well as my friend.
