Charlotte: Suddenly on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife, Paula Downs; sons, Ryan (Kristen) Downs, Devin (Amanda) Downs, Darren Downs; grandchildren, Julia & Luke, Kingston & Harrison Downs; step daughters, Mary Elizabeth (David) Cohen, Laura Stark, Michelle Miller, Lynnette Sackett; step grandchildren, Patrick & William Cohen, James, Justin, Karisa, Jonathan, Matthew, Nathan, Tiffany & Taylor; and many friends at the Charlotte Social Club.
Terry was in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
