Obituary of Edna M. Cantillon

Cantillon, Edna M. (Hasselwander) Rochester: Friday, May 22, 2009 at the age of 85. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband William J. Cantillon. She is survived by her brothers, Jim(Betty) of Acampo, CA and Alan C.(Joan) of Honeoye Falls; sister, Joanne Hasselwander S.S.J. of Rochester; several loving nieces, grand nieces, nephews and friends. Edna was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul conference under the able spiritual guidance of the Rev. Paul Schnaky, then pastor of St. Joseph's Church in Wayland, NY and a member of the Divine Mercy Devotion and Eucharistic Adoration. A special thank you to the staff on the 18th floor of the Heritage and also the Palliative Care Unit. Her family will receive friends TUESDAY 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family WEDNESDAY 10:00 AM at ST. ANNS HOME CHAPEL for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family requests Masses for the repose of her soul. Edna thanks her brothers and especially her sister, Sr. Joanne Hasselwander S.S.J. for their love and care of her and her deceased parents for giving her a solid catholic education by the good Sisters of Mercy, Sisters of St. Joseph and the Lord for giving her a loving God fearing husband.
