Obituary of Joseph Patrick Collins

Collins, Joseph P. (Capt., Ret.) Rochester. Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the age of 85. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Helen, children, Tim Collins, Mary Jo (Richard) Gavis and Karen Ann (Keith) Bock, grandchildren, Adam, Mary, James, Elizabeth Ann and Julia Emilie, sister, Mary Ochs, many loving nieces and nephews. Joe served in the Pacific Theater during WWII and retired from the City of Rochester Fire Department after 38 years of dedicated service. His family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4, 7-9pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 9:30am at Holy Cross Church for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
