Utter, Robert A. Irondequoit: Thursday, February 13, 2014. Pre-deceased by his parents, Lulu and Roy,and his brother Richard. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Geraldine; children, Sharon (Giustino) DiFelice, Peggy (Robert) Hamm, and Dwayne (Susan Hagen)Utter; grandchildren, Jill (Gregory) Ippolito, Andria DiFelice, Joseph DiFelice, Rebecca (Peter) Just, and Sarah Hamm; great grandchildren, Hannah, Brennen, Llily Ippoilito, and Nathaniel Just; brother-in-law, Richard Power; sisters-in-law Jane Reisig, Mary and Millie Power; many nieces, nephews, and all the beloved family pets. Robert was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps, Sergeant of Arms of the Amalgated Clothing Union Workers, and also was active in the Irondequoit Little League. He worked at Haloid for 11 years, a predecessor to Xerox. Robert signed a contract to play ball for the St. Louis Browns baseball organization prior to it becoming the St. Louis Cardinals. He remained a true Cardinals fan his entire life. His family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 - 4:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where his funeral service will be held Monday 10:00 AM. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
