To wife Anna and brother Joe,
I so enjoyed Leo's chat in the morning swim locker room....and as we walked out along the sidewalk, he always had something interesting to say about life and sometimes....actually often.... (because my memory is short) I would relate his words of wisdom to friends shortly after I heard them. Anna, he specifically would mention you with such honor and would proudly proclaim his devotion and loyalty ..... marriage to one woman for all those years. Joe, he often spoke of you and the meticulous way you worked....and sometimes he would throw in a comment something like how much he had taught you !!(with that sparkly eyed grin of course). Once he reminded me that he had to drive your mother to the hospital when you or a sibling were born.....he was QUITE young at that time. He had good memories of students he taught...........both academically and in ways to best live life. Leo lived a good life, he enjoyed hard work, loyalty, beauty in many ways......even if it was in the way some tree surgeons took down trees. His voice would soften when he spoke of troops he saw lose their lives in the war....always respectful. I will miss those chats, but I am thankful for having known him and will remember him and celebrate his example of how to live life well !!
Well done Leo............God keep !

To Anna and family,
Leo made life at #22 School most enjoyable with his good humor. I see you and think of you daily with your television provision for Dutcher and Z.... Have faith and believe in the resurrection. In short, Leo was a good and honorable husband, father and friend.

To Leo's family:
I have not seen much of Leo in the last few years but I will always remember his sense of humor, his smiles and wisdom during many trying times at School 22. May he rest in peace. My deepest condolences to Anna and his children .
