Obituary of John E. Cappon

Cappon, Jr, John E. Irondequoit: Passed away peacefully Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the age of 91. Pre-deceased by his wife Alice and infant son John. Mr. Cappon is survived by his sister-in-law Sharon(Edward) O'Neill, granddaughters, Kelly(Vince) Lattuca and Kerry(Mike)Christopher, niece, Patricia(Nick)Ryck, nephew, Dr. Thomas Price, great nieces, nephews and great great nieces and nephews. John served in the Army during WWII was in battle for 265 days including the invasion of Normandy. He later retired from Delco Products after 37 years of service. His family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 - 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Monday 10:30 am at St. Kateri at St. Cecilia Church for his funeral mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In memory of John, donations may be directed to the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
