Batzold, Thomas I.
Irondequoit. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the age of 56. Predeceased by his sister, Lauren Jacobs. Tom is survived by his wife of 27 years Pam Batzold, devoted children, Lindsay(Greg) Chambers, Thomas John , Carly, Allison and Scott Batzold, parents, John and Dorothy Batzold brothers, John(Joan) Batzold, Jr. and Alan(Kathy Sammons) Batzold, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends in the community. Tom was the former Sports Editor for the Democrat and Chronicle, a huge Yankee Baseball and Syracuse Basketball fan.
Tom's family will receive friends Saturday 3-7pm and Sunday 1-5 pm at the funeral home. His memorial service and interment will be held in private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 Winton Road S., Rochester, NY 14623.
