Obituary of Carl A. Jensen

Predeceased by his parents, Hans and Gudrun Jensen; siblings Mildred (Stuart) Hall, Lora (Charles) Hawken; Roy Jensen, and beloved nephew, Richard Hall. Survived by his loving wife and caretaker of 64 years, Olga (Paulyniw) Jensen; his loving and thankful children, Diana Jensen-Dooling (Thomas) and Paul Jensen (Tracey). He will always protect his loving grandsons who made him so proud; Andrew and Cory Jensen, Colin, Ryan, and Brennan Dooling; his sister-in-law Joyce Jensen; and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Lifetime Hospice, Take Care Inc., and the many medical staff members over the years that compassionately cared for Carl. He lived his life with bravery, patriotism, and generosity. He loved his family with his whole heart and taught us that, "Life isn't about waiting for the winds to change, it's learning to adjust the sails." A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place at Lutheran Redeemer Church, 1549 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY at 10:00 am Friday, February 6, 2015.
