Obituary of Janice L. Whitfield

Whitfield, Janice L. Rochester: Janice Louise Moore-Whitfield was born February 5, 1940 to the late Martin Elliott Bills and Ophelia Moore-Bills. Janice was the second of 6 children. She graduated from Allen White High School in 1958 and attended Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. Janice resided in Rochester, NY for over 50 years during which time she was employed with Eastman Kodak Company until her retirement. Janice is preceded in death by both parents and her brothers, Preston Moore (Orlando, Fl) and Everett Bills (Nashville, Tn). Janice leaves to celebrate her life a husband George Whitfield of Las Vegas, Nv, four children; Martinette Mitchell (Preston) of Clermont, Florida, Georgina Grimes (Barry) of Henderson, NV, George Whitfied Jr. of Middle Island, NY and Kim Whitfield of Rochester, NY. Five grandchildren; Khalis Mitchell, Ashley Mitchell, Meilani Whitfield, Charis Quick and Kala Sparacio. One great grandson, Elijah Quick. One brother, Martin Bills Jr., two sisters, Patricia Walker and Marcella Barrett. Two sister-in-laws, Rose Cantey Bills, Teresa Horton Bills and one brother-in-law, Daniel Barrett along with a host of nieces and nephews Her family will receive friends THURSDAY 4-7pm at the Harris Family Center(560 Kings Hwy South, located behind the funeral home.)
