Obituary of Julia B. VanWyk

VanWyk, Julia B. Irondequoit:Passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the age of 81. Julie is survived by sons, Leonard (Amy), Peter (Amy); daughters, Karen, Joan (Paul), Mary (Frank); 21 grandchildren; sister, Alberta; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Julie was a devoted mother, grandmother and a lover of music. She attended SUNY Cortland and the Eastman School of Music. She was an accomplished Pianist and Organist. Her family will receive friends FRIDAY 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 9:30 AM at ST. KATERI at ST. MARGARET MARY CHURCH for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Hochstein School of Music.
