Haefner, Hubert D. "Whitey"
Irondequoit; Thursday, August 20, 2009 at age 78. Mr. Haefner is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Eleanor Haefner, 5 children; Mark (Susan), Andy (Jessica), David, Shelly Haefner, Anne (Scott) Hetherington, adored grandchildren; Lindsay, Jack & Ben & a future granddaughter; a sister, Agnes Hurd, brothers; Ray (Eileen), Jerry (Marie) , Bob & Len (MaryAnn) , also many nieces & nephews and a host of friends. "Whitey" was an Air Force veteran of The Korean Conflict, a retired Math Professor at MCC with over 30yrs of service & an avid golfer.
His family will receive friends MONDAY 2-7 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY 10:00 AM at ST. MARGARET MARY CHURCH for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
