Winchip, Norma L.
Rochester: Norma passed away on August 22, 2015 at the age of 82. She was born in Rochester, NY, on March 12, 1933 to George and Francis McVea. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, David and daughter, Beth Ann Gibson. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Steve) Seidel of Rochester, NY, and Claire Rowan of Rocky Point, NY; son, Scott (Betsy) Winchip of Plymouth, MI; grandchildren, Cory Root, Rachel Kranitz, Drew Seidel, Alec Seidel, David Winchip, Liam Winchip, Connor Rowan, and Brendan Rowan; two great grandchildren, and close friend and neighbor of more than 50 years Marie Moriarty.
Norma had a variety of jobs before retiring from Unity Health System after more than two decades of service. Norma was an avid card player, gardner, and loving grandmother.
Her family will receive friends THURSDAY 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family FRIDAY 11:30am at ST. ANNS HOME CHAPEL for her memorial mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Ann´s Foundation, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621.
