Dear CJ and family,
We feel so terribly sad for you and the entire family. Please accept our condolences over your overwhelming loss.
Don was a beautiful man and a great guy with a beautiful spirit who blessed us and so many others with his friendship. A quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson, who said, “A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature.” Don was truly one of nature’s beautiful masterpieces and his contributions were many and far reaching.
We loved him for his humor, enthusiasm, unpredictable wit, his passion in politics, his strength and commitment, and most of all his compassion and caring. He left behind so many great memories. He was always full of cheer, spirit, interest, a great friend, and a good buddy. Don became a wonderful friend many years ago and he will remain in our hearts forever. All our memories of him throughout the years were wonderful and all of them leave us with a smile on our face. Don served as a guide to all of us on how to live life the best we can and to leave a legacy of smiling even when life gets you down. We thank God for having made him a part of our life. He was an inspiration to all and very special to us. He will be dearly missed!
We extend our deepest sympathy to you, his children and the entire family. We hope your memories are a comfort now and in the future. Know you are loved and put your trust in God for ease of the immediate pain. He will get you through this difficult time. Please know that you are in our thoughts and in our prayers.
