Sad to hear of Kate's passing and so very sorry for her family. I remember many days, sitting and drinking coffee with Kate, while discussing health and safety issues for the town and school our children attended and lived in, and then attending meetings as the pro-active Moms we were. She always had her children's interest at heart. She will be missed.

Kathy grew up on Lanvale Park with my sister, Mary Kay Kreckel, and she spent time at our house as we did at the Ringelstein household. Hers is a life lost too soon but I'm confident she had quite a reunion with her family as well as my sister. I hope you take comfort in knowing she is a peace with no more battles to fight. I will always remember Katie as a wonderful friend and Mother. She raised four great children and treated my boys like one of the family. I will always cherish the trips to the Thousand Islands and the vacation to Myrtle Beach. Hang in there kids I love all of you.
