Irondequoit: Born 7/4/1920 in Perry, NY. Died Sunday January 24, 2016 after a brief illness. Predesceased by her husband, James Austin; brother, Howard Mason; and sister, Shirley Mason. Harriet is survived by her daughter Kim (Sam) DeLuca; step grandsons Anthony DeLuca (Annamaria Manso) and Michael DeLuca; step great-grandson, Mason DeLuca; "daughter in spirit" Kathleen Mielke; nephews Bill (Doris) Ludlow and James E. (Shari) Ludlow and Chi-Chi, her beloved dog. Harriet had a long, full life and she enjoyed every minute of it. She is now dancing with the angels.
Her family will receive friends Friday 3:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where her funeral service will be held Saturday 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Irondequoit Cemetery.
