Rochester: March 10, 2016 at age 80. Beloved father, passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Bob is survived by his 5 sons: James (Patricia Wright), John (Paula), Thomas (Kristen), Timothy, and Robert Jr. Missing him already are his grandchildren: Jason (Margaret), Adam and his fiancée Brooke Swift, Michael, Jacqueline, Ashely, Troy, Mia, and Kaela, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bob will be missed by his many friends.
Bob was a lifelong resident of West Irondequoit. Early in life, Bob owned Lehmann Sunoco, which he later sold after achieving a Bachelor's degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. He became a mechanical engineer at Eastman Kodak Company and retired after 31 years.
Bob could fix anything; he took great pride in his projects large or small. He loved the outdoors, especially walking the shoreline of Lake Ontario, where he resided for the last 13 years. He was dedicated to his children and grandchildren, always providing guidance and wisdom.
His family will receive friends on Monday, March 14, from 4 to 7pm at the funeral chapel (570 Kings Hwy South). In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in honor of Bob to the charity of your choice.
