I just came across this obituary and am deeply saddened.
Phyllis was a kind and big hearted woman of enormous love for her daughter and son in law, whom I didn't know had passed. I met her years ago and hadn't spoken to her in a long time. She was and is always in my heart.
Every year Phyllis gave me her hand made kitchen Christmas towels and ornaments. I was soo happy back when she moved from her home in the city to live with Fran and Terry. She was happy and safe in her in law apt in their home.
I just adored her. I wish I had known she was ill. This woman, so eternally devoted to her family had shared many single mom stories with me and her love for Alphonse never subsided.
I used to always tell her she had the skin of a 20 year old. I can see her face now in my mind.
