Adamczuk, Stephen
Webster: Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the age of 89. Born in the village of Oslavytsia, Lemkivschyna, Ukraine. Predeceased by his sisters in Ukraine, Maria and Julia. Stephen is survived by his wife of 64 years, Emma, children, Irene (Michael) Siolkowsky, Andrew (Natalie) and John (Karen) Adamczuk, grandchildren, Mark and Christine Siolkowsky, Kasha Adamczuk, Tanya(Patrick)Rommevaux and Peter Adamczuk (Jennifer Lynn), Shannon and Daniel Adamczuk, 2 great grandchildren, Halyna and Dalilah, sister Olena in Ukraine, several nieces & nephews In Ukraine, cousin Helen of PA. He was a member of St. Josaphats Church Choir and Surma Choir, U.P.A, LEMKO Organization, Ukrainian Cultural Center of Rochester and a member of the U.F.C.U.
His family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). (Panachyda 7:00pm) Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday 10:00 am at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Litopys U.P.A., c/o Mr. Potichnyj, 238 Appleby Rd., Ancaster, Ontario Canada L9G-2V7 or St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church, 940 East Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14621.
