Obituary of Lesley S. Flick

Lesley S. Flick, 50, of Irondequoit, NY passed on with her family by her side on April 30, 2016. Born in Rochester on November 29, 1965 to Marie A. Keller and the late Gary Flick, Lesley is survived by her wife Christina Sloane; her mother, Marie A. Keller; brothers-in-law Greg (Joan), David (Anne) and Steven (Beth) Sloane; nieces Sara (Sean) Torpey and Nora Sloane; grandniece and nephew, Caitlin and Aiden Torpey; several aunts and uncles of the Flick family; and thousands of friends and students who were such a big part of her life. Lesley grew up in Greece excelling at sports and still enjoying them today, especially her Lady Vols and Steelers. She graduated from Greece Arcadia High School, Roberts Wesleyan College and SUNY Brockport with a C.A.S. in Educational Administration. She taught at Byron Bergen Central, York Central, Eastridge and was an administrator at Fairport Central, Victor Central and currently at Greece Central as Principal of Arcadia High School. Lesley was the epitome of “Titan Strong”. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Rochester General Hospital 5500 Team for the compassionate care during her illness. The family will greet friends and colleagues from 5:00-8:00PM on Monday, May 2 at Monroe’s, 3001 Monroe Avenue. A Celebration of Life will be held at Spiritus Christi, 121 N Fitzhugh Street on Wednesday, May 4 at 5:30PM. Students, alumni and families are welcome to gather together at Arcadia High School on Friday, May 6 from 6:30-8:00PM to celebrate Ms. Flick. Please do not send flowers.
