Costa, Celestino
Irondequoit: Peacefully Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his mom Maria Stella Nistico and by his brother Antonio. Mr. Costa is survived by his loving wife Maria Caterina Costa, children, Nicola and Antonio(Alicia)Costa, Silvia(Salvatore)Puccio, grandchildren, Angelo Costa, Anthony Puccio, Nicola Costa and Giulia Puccio.
Celestino was born in Cardinale, Itlay where he learned to become a tailor. He immigrated from Cardinale, Italy in 1961 with his wife and son Nicola and worked as a tailor at Bonds Clothing and retired from Aldo's Tailor shop. He enjoyed spending time with his family but most of all spending time with his grandchildren and attending their functions.
No prior visitation. Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday 9:30 am at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church for his funeral mass. Interment will be held in private at Celestino's request. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society, 1120 South Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620.
