The news of Dr. Foley's death saddens me. I feel so blessed to have known him. He helped me tremendously as I wouldn't be able to work if it weren't for the care that I received from him, and the practice over the years with all my injuries.
I started out with Dr. Foley on Cooper Road. In 1998 my then chiropractor wouldn't help me when I hurt my back on a holiday weekend. I found Dr. Foley's, Irondequoit Chiropractic Center under Emergency Chiropractic Care in the yellow pages phone book. I remember Dr. Foley telling me that he took an oath when he became a chiropractor to help everyone. Through the years, Dr. Foley was the only chiropractor that could adjust me.
When his practice was over on Cooper Road, I remember that he had a garden and loved tending to it. He would tell me all about it when I came into the office for an adjustment. In recent years, he enjoyed my apple crisp that I would bring in for him.
Dr. Foley was an amazing man; friendly, and he really cared about his patients. After being a patient for awhile he became more of a friend than my chiropractor. He didn't dress like the typical chiropractor. He made you feel so comfortable.
Karen, Amber and Larry, I am so sorry for your loss.
Marilyn Scripture, Patient

Doc, you are one of the greatest men I've ever had the pleasure of having as a friend.
At our last lunch you shared your bucket list of things yet to do.
Your compassion, empathy, and love of life for your patients, family and friends - paramount and wonderful!
You never complained, never lost your love of life, nor lost your vision.
Riding side by side with you a gift I will treasure.
You left a big hole in the universe Steve - Forever in the wind my brother

If I had to list my favorite people on one hand since moving to Rochester 16 years ago, Dr. Foley would most definitely be on my list. His kind smile, warm demeanor and genuine compassion for people is what stands out to me the most; not mention his sense of humor and love for his growing family. I always felt welcome and genuinely cared for by him. I'll never forget the relief I felt when i learned that he could still adjust me when i was a zillion months pregnant. He smiled and laughed with me.... and was truly excited for my husband and I when we brought our children into the world. May God bless you Dr. Foley and all of your family and loved ones whose lives you touched. You will always be in my heart. Rest in peace...

My deepest condolences to all family members of Dr. Foley. I was his patient for over 8 years and attended his Cooper Road office at first. I can honestly say that he was one of my favorite doctors. He was always in a good mood and friendly and was always concerned for my health. He had a great sense of humor and always smiled. He also told me that one of his favorite things to do was cooking! I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing and I will greatly miss him.
I will keep you all in my prayers,
Judy Gray

I loved Dr. Foley. He was one of the kindest persons I have ever met. We were always joking with one another. l loved his Boston accent and his wonderful Irish sense of humor. He made me laugh so many times. He was also a great chiropractor too. I will miss him forever! I am to grateful to have known you Steve and I am thankful that you are no longer suffering. Thank you Jesus for taking Dr. Foley to a place where there is no more pain. Until we meet again, " I'll see you at the resurrection, on the day we are renewed, just look for me, I'll be smiling, and running up to you!"
