Obituary of Birute Cypas

Cypas, Birute Rochester: Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the age of 90. Pre-deceased by her husband, Vytautas. She is survived by her son, Algis(Audrone); daughter, Aukse Kristina(Anatoli) Staertow; grandson, Arunas(Terri) Cypas; granddaughter, Andrea(Eric) Henry; step-grandson, Michael(Maryjo) Staertow; great grandchilden, Connor Cypas, Tomas & Julia Henry, Ian & Emma Staertow and family in Lithuania. Birute was blessed with the gift of singing, her voice brought great joy to communities across the world. She leaves her legacy of unconditional love, strong will and generosity. A special thank you to the staff of 2200 at Unity Hospital for their compassionate care. Her family will receive friends TUESDAY (Today) 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family WEDNESDAY 10:00 AM at ST. GEORGE'S LITHUANIAN CHURCH for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
