Irondequoit: September 11, 2016. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Marie V. Clark, Andia; his life-long friends, John G. Black; his mother, Mary Grace Rizzo Fricano, Andia LoCigno; his father, Gabriel Andia; his 10 half brothers and sisters, George (Frances) (Viola) Andia, James (Jeanette) Andia, Elizabeth Anida/Ande (Ray) Hess, Ernest (Amelia) Andia, Ralph (Mae) Andia, Marie Theresa Andia/Ande, Joseph (Sarah) Fricano, Patrina Fricano (Vito) Tudisco (George) Carey, Sarah Fricano (Guido) Centola, Patsy (Nellie) Fricano.
He leaves his step-son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Ruth Moss Clark; granddaughter, Emani Clark; grandson, Honore Clark; his sister-in-law, Mae (Ralph) Andia; many nieces and nephews through great, great, great, great great great; he leaves his daugh ters-in-law, Moss and Shabazz families, who welcomed him with such warmth and love.
Bill joined the Rochester Com munity Players in 1943, their 20th Season, when he was 15 years old. That association prepared him for the next 40 years that he worked as designer, director, producer with local amateur and professional theater groups and high schools. In 1982 and for 7 years, he worked for the Roch ester City School District. In be tween, he went to college and graduated, summa cum laude, from SUC Brockport, in 1970, and became the "theater department" for the now defunct St. Agnes High School for 4 years.
It was at the RCSD, in 1982, that he met and married Marie V. Clark. Her untimely death in 2001 brought a grief from which he nev er married.
As Bill requested, no viewing or memorial services are planned. As a tribute, do something nice for someone you love.
