Obituary of Selma E. DiPonzio

DiPonzio, Selma E. (Pero) Rochester: Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the age of 87. Pre-deceased by her husbands, Rufus Pero & Paul DiPonzio. She is survived by her son, Earl (Milly) Pero; step daughters, Carmen Oliverra, Wanda DeJesus; step sons, Thomas & Wilson DeJesus; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; sister, Harriet; many nieces, nephews & cousins. Selma was a US Navy Veteran during the Korean Conflict where she trained as an air traffic controller. She was in US Navy Reserve for 20 years. She worked as a waitress at Fox's Restaurant, The Manhattan Restaurant and Rochester Convention Center. Her family will receive friends Monday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family Tuesday 10:00am at St. Michael's Church for her funeral mass. Interment Private Riverside Cemetery.
