Obituary of Donald R. Bissonnette

Bissonnette, Donald R. Gates: Peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at the age of 86. Pre-deceased by his wife Lorna; sons, Frank & Bill. He is survived by his Daughter in law, Cindy Bissonnette; granddaughter, Haley Bissonnette; grandson, Dylan (Andrea Cobb) Bissonnette; brother, Al (Shirley) Bissonnette; dear friend, Alice Knittle. Don was a retiree of Delco Products and an usher at St. Theodores Church. He was an avid golfer, NY Giants & NY Rangers fan and enjoyed driving his Cadillac’s. A special thank you to the staff at Unity Hospital 4200/4300 and Hildebrandt Hospice for their loving care. His family will receive friends Wednesday 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 9:30am at St. Theodores Church for his funeral mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Capital Maintenance Fund at St. Theodores Church or American Cancer Society- Finger Lakes Region, 1120 S. Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
