Obituary of Sheila Horton

Horton, Sheila L. (Hanna) Rochester: 12/29/1936 – 12/30/2016 at age 80 after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness, Sheila passed on to join her parents; Alice and Winfield Hanna; sister, Marazella Thompson; brother, Eugene Hanna and her loving husband, Roger S. Horton. Her memory as a kind and gentle soul lives on in her family. To Connie Horton and Rita Magowan, she was a treasured mother and a devoted sister. She will be remembered as a much-loved friend and sister-in-law by; John H. Horton II, Jeanette Furstoss, June (Dom) Piazza, Rance (Joan) Horton, Ralph (Kathleen) Horton and Rosemary (Louis) Bouchard. By her many nieces and nephews, she will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, wicked potato salad and a willingness to humor them at cards and beat them at bocci. She loved you all. A prayer service will be held at 1:00 PM, SATURDAY, JANUARY 7 in the All Saints Mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY.
