Harold was a quiet man with a good sense of humor. We both played in the Music Makers big band and in the Irondequoit Concert Band with him.We had just talked with him the previous Tuesday at rehearsal. We will miss him.

I want to offer the Irondequoit Concert Band's sincerest condolences to Harold's family. Harold played with our band over 25 years, and we will certainly miss his smiling face at rehearsals and concerts. He was a fun guy to be around, and a great trumpet player. Our thoughts are with you.
Sincerely,
Shannon Bielaska, President

Our sincere sympathy to all on the passing of this special man. Unfortunately, we are traveling and regret that we will not be able to attend his service. He was a great mentor to have not only at Universal, but also on the golf course. I will miss him and our special lunches we often shared together. He and Dorothy were a unique couple. We so enjoyed their company on the many trips we had together from work.

Dear Jeanne...I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. He was always the nicest person to me when you and I were dating over 40 years ago! I will always remember his friendliness, (and his humor with me). May God be with all of you at this present time.

Harold was a friend, mentor, and a second grandfather to me for almost 20 years. He was one of the most musical trumpet players I have ever known-I must have heard his solo on "Swanee River" a thousand times and was always impressed with how he phrased every note he played. Rest In Peace, my friend-you will be missed.

Harold was truly a man of "the greatest generation" - what a perfect example he set in kindness, diligence, musicianship, loyalty and optimism. I will so miss our drives together as we traveled for Music Maker Band gigs, and he never ceased to amaze with his trumpet solos, right up thru New Year's Eve 2017. Harold was one in a million and I treasure how his life affected me in such a wonderful way.

I'll so miss Harold's quiet smile as he entered practice with the Irondequoit Concert Bands practice. We have shared that music for almost the same number of years. His illness never reduced his ability to be the kind person he was.
