Rest in peace to my favorite aunt. You were always fun to see and you always made me smile and feel special. your personality lit up the room like a disco ball and you liked to make people laugh. You made some amazing foods for our family get togethers and you were one of the people I hoped to see whenever we had a party. You raised an amazing family, two strong Ukrainian men that love you very much, and like you, are also fun and a pleasure to spend time with. This condolence is adapted from a Facebook post originally sent from Chris Adams to Alex Diaczenko. I (Chris) am re-posting it here so that family and friends of the deceased without access to Facebook may see it and know that they are in my thoughts and prayers: Alex... this takes me back. This takes me back so many years to all those summer days and after-school hours spent playing in your back yard, in the woods, and in the basement of your childhood home on Lakeshore Boulevard. Whether it was a game of hide and seek, building castles in the sandbox, playing video games on Sega Genesis or building Lego mega-cities in the basement, those memories of all the time spent at your place growing up are always with me, even now. You and your parents opened your home to me, and shared your dinner table with me. Your mom would cook those amazing crepes in the morning, and often drove us to school. She was a saint. Know that I will pray for her, and that all these years later, I love you, my friend. Chris
